The only thing in a zip file from curseforge for a modpack is a manifest.json file and a few folders, mainly for configs. It doesn't matter where you out the mod pack folder. Just create a new minecraft instance, and set the game directory to the (.zip?) mod pack folder. RIP CURSE CLIENT - ITS NOW TWITCH BUT I STILL HAVE CURSE ONE IF YOU WANT MORE SPACE ALOCATED IN THAT INSTANCE YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:Ĭheck memory tab and make sure the box is checkedĪnd then edit Minimum memory alocated to 1024 MB and Maximum to half of your RAM (if you have 4 GB RAM then maximum should be 2048 MB) Then go to minecraft folder and paste what you copied from other Curse folder and there you go. Search "minimumLauncherVersion": and delete whole line of that text.Ĭlick on your instane and at left, click "instance folder" Then at left click Customize and then click Edit Then click Minecraft = Version1.10.2 for example Install latest forge for that version of minecraft ![]() Then at left there are sections and at bottom there is install forge. When you create an instance on far left there will be bar with play, edit instance etc. curseclient, manifest, modpackinstance, perms.txt/modlist.html)Ĭhoose a version (IF THE MODPACK IS 1.10.2 OR ABOVE then you hve to do following because it wont load minecraft files) Then you will see a folder with mods, configs, saves and etc. Install (You must have premium minecraft account)Īt top right corner there will be three dot button click it, then click open folder. I dont use curse because it is laggy so Download MultiMC. Is there a way to install it without the curse launcher and if not can you provide me a link to download the curse launcher and also provide some instructions? Thanks. ![]() I downloaded Foolcraft from the mods.curse website but I don't know how to install it and get it working.
